We have used Margate Animal Hospital for more than 15 years. They were not recommended by anyone, just happened to be close to our home when we got our puppy. The free 1st visit at another vet was a disaster, then we found MGH. It is a pleasure dealing with them. They are experienced and intelligent, always treating us like family and not clients. Over the years we have taken our yorkie for shots, boarding and treatment on the 2 occasions he got sick. They were always outstanding, never gouging us for a fast buck. This past September we lost our little guy. It was devastating for us and the staff at MGH mourned along with us. They made his passing more dignified and treated him with love and tenderness. About a year before, we got a Chocolate Lab to keep the yorkie company. They continue to be great with her and recently we got a Boxer puppy to give the Lab a friend since she was missing her brother. I compared prices with 10 other area vets, and found them to be considerably lower in price. It is not a fancy type of place, if that is what you are looking for. I have had bad experiences with several vets through the years trying to take advantage, and have paid exorbitant prices in Coral Springs. I have been there 3 times and have been very happy with the service, and my dogs have recovered nicely. They always seem to be busy with past customers which was a good sign. Some of the following reviews sound not so good, but Im sure at every vet, there are going to be dissatisfied patients.
